Nashik, December 1, 2022: Sportz Connect is delighted to announce that we have joined hands with cricketer Rasika Shinde who is a member of the Maharashtra Cricket team and will be managing her profile from now on. Rasika is a brilliant cricketer and has led her state Maharashtra Women at the Under-16 and Under-19 national level school games.
Rasika is an all-rounder who contributes with both bat and ball for her team and has also won the ‘Best All-rounder’ award in the Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh tournament. The talented cricketer featured in All India Level University matches this year also secured 1st place in the West Zone Matches in 2022. She also represented her state team during the recently concluded edition of the Senior Women’s One-Day Trophy.
Rasika Shinde, the cricketer, was also a topper in her state after securing 100% marks in the SSC Board Exam. She also received Nashik Youth Icon Award from Radio Mirchi 98.3, the Best Player award of M.V.P Society, and the Emerging Star award of Maharashtra.
A pace-bowling all-rounder, Rasika admires Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni for their longevity and finishing skills respectively in the sport. She also idolizes pace bowlers Dale Steyn and Bhuvneshwar Kumar who have had amazing careers in cricket. Among Women cricketers, it is no surprise that Rasika also admires legendary Australian cricketer Ellyse Perry who is also a pace-bowling all-rounder.
