Let’s take an in-depth look at what your team can be for Gameweek 2.

Matches to target:

Arsenal vs Leicester
Manchester City vs Bournemouth

Chelsea vs Tottenham

Liverpool vs Crystal Palace

Players in focus:

Arsenal:

Arsenal has fared well in Gameweek 1, withstanding pressure. Gabriel Jesus looks to be a set fixture in most of the FPL teams this season. Arsenal’s defense also looks resolute, with Zinchekno capable of providing a healthy attacking output. Gabriel Martinelli is definitely a budget option to consider. Leicester has had no new additions this year and looks quite vulnerable. Aaron Ramsdale is a good goal-keeping option as he provided a couple of stunning saves along with a clean sheet in the last match.

Manchester City:

Moving on to Manchester City, the new kid in the block, Erling Braut Haaland has taken to the Premier League by storm, scoring two goals against West Ham. With City’s upcoming fixtures, it makes total sense to keep him in your team. He looks a great option, a very safe bet. Kevin De Bruyne is also set to receive a plethora of assists with a goal-scoring machine in the form of Haaland in front of him. Kyle Walker and Joao Cancelo have the scope of keeping clean sheets while also promising attacking outputs, especially the latter. It’s best to keep Bournemouth players out of the team, if you happen to have any.

Chelsea and Tottenham

Chelsea vs Tottenham looks set to be the match of the week. Conte’s wingbacks are integral to his system and in the last match against Southampton, Sessegnon scored a goal and proved to be a great differential for a 4.5-priced player. Emerson Royale on the other flank also participated in the build-up a lot. None of the Tottenham midfielders were particularly creative, with Kane being the playmaker. Son provided an assist and Kulusevski looked very lively. Having either of them might prove beneficial. Chelsea wasn’t the sharpest but Sterling, who played through the middle might be a good option in the long run. Mount had a poor game but like Spurs, Chelsea’s wingbacks also promise good value as Chilwell and James offered a lot of attacking threats. Chilwell also won the penalty for Chelsea’s goal.

Liverpool:

Liverpool is currently on-going a crisis in their midfield with a lot of their midfielder out through injury. However, that shouldn’t mean that they will lose to Crystal Palace who lost the first match of their campaign against Arsenal. Salah looks like a staple feature and even Nunez provided a great return in their first match. Luis Diaz was unlucky to blank but he looks like a great prospect. Crystal Palace is a good unit themselves but they are not looking likely to keep the Reds at bay.

Gameweek 2 fantasy premier league tips for differentials:

Some of the differentials gameweek 2 fantasy premier league tips are as follows-
Danny Welbeck looked sharp in Brighton’s win against United while Patrick Bamford could also prove to be good value. Gabriel Martinelli is a great budget option. Aaron Cresswell of West Ham is on set piece duty against Nottingham Forrest and could reap some benefits.

Captaincy choice:

Haaland is a great, safe pick for the captain as he’s set to face the newly promoted Bournemouth. However, veteran FPL players know Salah is a different beast altogether as well. It is a tough choice but Joao Cancelo can be a differential captain pick as well against Bournemouth.

All the best for your FPL matches, hope you have a great gameweek!
