Wanindu Hasaranga
Wanindu Hasaranga is currently one of the best spinners in world cricket. He has been a consistent performer for the team for the last couple of years. Hasaranga starred with the ball in the ICC T20 World Cup 2021 and finished the season as the leading wicket-taker. RCB spent INR 10.75 crores to buy his services for the upcoming edition. He is likely to play all the matches.
Harshal Patel
Harshal Patel had a stellar season with the ball last year. Harshal Patel was the go-to bowler for Virat Kohli in the IPL 2021. He finished the season as the highest wicket-taker, picking a record 32 wickets to 15 matches. His performances helped him fetch a place in the Indian team as well.
Key Bowlers To Watch Out For:
Mohammed Siraj
There is no denying that Mohammed Siraj has come way ahead in his career in a matter of a couple of years. Siraj has looked a different bowler since making his Test debut in Australia. He bowls at great areas and looks a lot more threatening now. The RCB pacer is likely to have a big impact with the ball this season.
Josh Hazlewood:
Royal Challengers Bangalore managed to buy the services of Josh Hazlewood for an amount of INR 7.75 crores at the Mega Auction. The franchise would be delighted at the signing. He will further bolster the pace bowling unit. Hazlewood did exceedingly well for CSK last year and RCB would be wanting him to deliver such performances for them in IPL 2022.
