Matches to target in FPL Gameweek 25

The gameweek 25 will feature ten matches. Of the 20 teams in the league, 16 will be playing and the other four won’t feature. Manchester United and Newcastle United go head-to-head for the EFL Cup. They will miss their respective matches along with Brighton and Brentford. Arsenal, Everton, Liverpool, and Wolves will play two matches this week. Keeping a note of that, we look at some of the matches that you should target.

Leicester City vs Arsenal

EPL leaders Arsenal will face Leicester City in their first match of the gameweek 25. The Gunners made a sensational comeback win in their last match. They scored four past Aston Villa. Leicester City, on the other hand, lost by three goals to Manchester United. Arsenal will be eyeing to take an advantage of the wounded Foxes.

Arsenal vs Everton

Arsenal will play their second match against Sean Dyche’s, Everton. They are also on a good run and will be a tough team to beat. Along with Arsenal, Everton will also play two matches this weekend. They recently defeated Arsenal 1-0 in the English Premier League.

Liverpool vs Wolves

Liverpool will face Wolves in their second match of the gameweek 25. They will face Crystal Palace and that will be a tough test for them. Jurgen Klopp’s side was recently knocked out of the UEFA Champions League. They will now target to reach the top four in the EPL.

Bournemouth vs Manchester City

Pep Guardiola’s men haven’t shown the same consistency that they used to show in the past. They recently gave away a one-goal lead against Nottingham Forest. Their next trip will be away at Bournemouth. Manchester City won’t settle for fewer goals.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Chelsea

Antonio Conte’s Spurs will face Graham Potter’s Chelsea in the biggest match of the gameweek 25. Chelsea are struggling to find form, while Spurs won their previous match and will be high on confidence. This London derby is important for both these clubs.

Andrew Roberston (6.8): Liverpool’s left-back has five assists to his name this season. He has an attacking mindset and will offer his team a lot from the left side.

James Tarkowski (4.3): The Everton centre-back is a cheap option in the defence. He is also a threat on set pieces.

Max Kilman (4.4): The Wolves centre-back is another low-budget option for the team. His side will also play two matches in the gameweek 25.

Oleksandr Zinchenko (5.1): Arsenal’s left-back scored his first goal for the club in the last match. He is growing with confidence and is a good option for your FPL team.

Bukayo Saka (8.4): The Englishman averages around six points in the last ten matches. He is in good form and will look to score his third consecutive goal.

Mo Salah (12.6): The Egyptian has accumulated 17 points in the last two game weeks. His side will play twice this weekend. He is their penalty taker and the main man in the attack.

Alex Iwobi (5.4): Everton’s Nigerian attacker is a cheap option in the midfield. He has scored a goal and has seven assists to his name this season. Iwobi will be a key member of the attack.

Cody Gakpo (7.8): Liverpool’s winter signing is likely to feature in both matches. He has scored a goal each in his last two matches.

Darwin Nunez (8.7): Another Liverpool player who can be a handy addition to the team in their Uruguayan. He has a goal and an assist in the last two matches. The striker will be hungry to add more to his tally.

Eddie Nketiah (6.8): He is the only proper striker in the Gunners’ lineup. Nketiah hasn’t scored a goal since his famous brace against Manchester United. He will be looking to add one or two in the coming matches.
