For the last three seasons, Delhi Capitals‘ performance have been nothing short of outstanding. They have managed to reach the playoffs for three consecutive seasons in 2019, 2020, and 2021. Add to that, they even reached the final in the 2020 edition of the tournament but, unfortunately, lost to Mumbai Indians. We will cover the Delhi Capitals complete schedule in this article.
DC have never won a trophy in the history of IPL. Heading into the 2022 edition of the tournament, they would be keen to go all the way this time around. Rishabh Pant, who led the side in the second leg of IPL 2021, has been backed to lead the team this year as well.
Delhi will kick start their IPL 2022 campaign against Mumbai Indians at Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on 27th March. Rishabh Pant and Boys will then take on Gujarat Titans and Lucknow Super Giants in their second and third games respectively. They will be playing their last league stage match against Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium on 21st May 2022.
All the teams are divided into two Groups in IPL 2022, namely Group A and Group B. Delhi Capitals find themselves in Group A, which also the likes of Mumbai Indians, Kolkata Knight Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, and Rajasthan Royals.
Delhi Capitals will be playing against all these teams twice in the league stage. Besides, they will also be playing against their Group B counterpart Punjab Kings twice and once against the remaining teams from that group.
